
John Barnett: BAR MANAGER
John "Johnny" Barnett grew up in County Cork, Ireland, in a family-run hotel/restaurant. Barnett's Hotel was located in a quaint seaside village called Schull in West Cork. After college, Johnny became the food and beverage manager for the hotel. He immigrated to America from Ireland in 1994 and again went into the food and pub trade. He worked at Matt Murphy's pub in Brookline Village with many chefs, namely Marc Orfaly, Paul Boras, Paul O'Connell and others who would later open their own successful restaurants in Boston. He also worked part-time at Spazio's in Braintree with chef/owner Michael Richardi. Johnny is pleased to be part of the team here at Townshend's and looks forward to working with Mike, Ros, Chef Hoddinott and Luna Marketing.
